WHO IS SEATED YOGA SUITABLE FOR?

Everyone is welcome.  Seated Yoga is particularly suitable for anyone who has thought about trying yoga but may have been put off at the prospect of sitting on the floor!

WHAT SORT OF EXERCISES WILL THERE BE?

Most exercises are done sitting in a chair and any invitation to do a standing exercise will include the option of using the back of your chair / a wall for support.

The exercises are short and arranged in sequences with rest and relaxation time between.  They are designed to gently help you to improve your range of movement and balance, your breathing and circulation, and your focus and concentration.

Each exercise is an invitation to participate in the way that is best for your own health and well-being – we are all different and we all feel different from day to day!   It is always OK to stop the exercise at any point you need to and just relax.  Benefits can be gained by simply being in the energy of the group!
