I have brought the skills I have learned from Kundalini Yoga into my daily life with long lasting and very positive results. By sharing Yogi Bhajan’s inspirational teachings with you, I hope to present you with the opportunity to discover and enjoy your own experience of Kundalini Yoga.
After many years of trying out different types of yoga, I attended a Kundalini Yoga Class in Newbury and found that it resonated with me on every level of my self development, offering an uplifting, authentic and complete experience of physical body and breath work, mental focus, deep relaxation and spiritual connection. As I continued to attend classes I found that practising Kundalini Yoga was gradually improving my physical strength and alignment and teaching me how to quieten my busy mind and relax. My regular practice continues to support me through life’s many challenges, always offering me the tools and inspiration to develop a balanced approach to life and bringing me new insights, deeper understanding, and contentment.
My Training and Qualifications
I trained as a Kundalini Yoga teacher with the Karam Kriya School in Oxfordshire and Portugal.
My commitment to Kundalini Yoga is life-long. As my journey progresses I continue to participate in ongoing and further training to develop and improve my skill and deepen my understanding.
I am a member of KYTA (the Kundalini Yoga Teachers’ Association), and IKYTA (the International Kundalini Yoga Teachers’ Association)
I am a qualified KRI (Kundalini Research Institute) International level 1 and level 2 Instructor in Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan and I continue to participate in further training in Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan, principally under the expert guidance of my teacher Shiv Charan Singh, founder of Karam Kriya School;
I am blessed with the spiritual name of Daya Kaur, meaning “The Princess of Kindness and Compassion”
